New Camera!!

After many years of wanting a nice camera I decided to buy myself a belated graduation gift. I chose a Nikon D40 and I am loving it so far. I definitely have many hours of manual reading ahead of me so I can use it to it's full potential, but the auto feature is just fine for now.


This flower shot is the very FIRST picture I took with the camera using the BIG lens.

When all else fails, start practicing on inanimate objects. They never complain. This is Susan... Tessa's newest doll. She chose the name all by herself.


What does a person do to stay cool on those 100 degree evenings? Swim of course!!!!

It's a Wonderful Life!!

WOW! Time sure does fly!!! Tessa is now another year older and according to the degree I received I should be another year wiser!

Since becoming a parent I no longer live in the typical Jan-Dec year, now my fiscal year is June-May. As each year Tessa turns another year older I tend to reflect upon the year in that way.

So I thought I'd share some of my favorite moments of this, "my year" with all of you!
